I'm assuming you have good crank (ie checked (+) connections at stater, alternator and battery for corrosion and tightness). Now it dies after start up. It is most likely caused by some type of issue with the electrical or fuel system.

Up to 15% cash back i have a 2002 toyota tacoma with a 3.4 v6 engine start and dies, also the injectors are pulsing with the key in the on position ecm problem maybe. Check your ground wire (fuseable link) from body to motor. Okay so my friends 3.4 97 4runner just dies on him driving about 30 on the highway. Will start an drive on 3rd, 4th try;
